  3. Thank you for purchasing this CD-ROM. We appreciate your business. We
  4. hope that you find the use of this CD-ROM both easy and exciting.

  6.              !!! YOU MUST INSTALL THE SOFTWARE !!!
  7.  
  8. To install the ShareWare OnLine Retrieval System, go to the starting 
  9. directory of your CD-ROM drive and type "GO COLOR" or "GO MONO".
  10. If your CD-ROM drive letter is S:, for example, you would enter
  11. the following commands:

  13. C:\> S:
  14. S:\> CD \
  15. S:\> GO COLOR
  16.  
  17. After this is done, the ShareWare OnLine Retrieval System  will
  18. execute.  At this time you should choose option 6 on the menu to
  19. install the software onto your hard disk. You MUST DO THIS before
  20. running any other option on the program. The install option on
  21. the menu creates the directories \online, \online\work and
  22. \online\unzip on the destination drive. It then writes a batch
  23. file called install.bat. It then moves you to that drive and
  24. into the online directory. At this point, the user should
  25. execute the install.bat before doing anything else. This will
  26. install the files and give you some preliminary instructions on
  27. how to execute the ShareWare OnLine Retrieval System.

  29. The ShareWare OnLine Retrieval System will not run without the
  30. installation. Please install it. We hope you will appreciate
  31. its speed and versatility.

  33. Once installed, the ShareWare OnLine Retrieval System will allow
  34. you to effortlessly copy and view PKZip Archives and Gif
  35. pictures. With PKZip archives you can copy, unzip and view
  36. contents. With Gif pictures you can copy and view. Yes, you can
  37. look at the pictures, if you have a VGA monitor, directly off
  38. the CD-ROM. There is tagging for copying and unzipping multiple
  39. files from the CD-ROM. We think you will like it.

  67. We personally thank you for buying our CD-ROM. Originally, the
  68. project began as a what-if and became more and more serious. We
  69. have spent a lot of late nights and cracked a lot of jokes since
  70. the first day we started the project. Most of the marketing has
  71. been done by Dave, who was into the CD-ROM business long before
  72. I even thought of it. Most of the file cleaning, downloading
  73. and hardware handling has been done George. For both of us it has
  74. been both enjoyable and enlightening.

  77. again for an update or maybe a new creation. New software rolls
